Lois was a force of nature , and by that I mean she had her way of looking at the world and deciding how she wanted to live with in it, independent right up to the end. She had as they used to say “Moxie!” I enjoyed her poems and paintings, and her letters to editors and leaders when she felt they needed to be encourage or scolded, She welcomed me into her family and I instantly felt loved and appreciated. We had many interesting discussions on varied topics but mostly Art and Politics. She will be dearly missed, Rest in Power Lois

Stephen Killea Thank you Love! I know you loved and appreciated Lois! We always enjoyed lively conversations with her about art and politics and everything in between! She was, as you stated, “A force of nature”, and a very interesting and iconoclastic woman!Thank you for all your steadfast love and support in this very sad and difficult time for our family! I don’t know how I could have managed the extreme stress and deep sadness without you by my side!

Our family is so lucky to have Lois as our neighbor for mover 20 years. Already, the neighborhood is a little dimmer without her. We already miss hearing her piano playing drifting from her windows, her kind waves as we crossed paths, or her quick chats about the goings-on around town.  We will always miss her generosity, kindness, and mostly, her sense of humor.
