Brendan was the sweetest boy and it was an absolute blessing to have known him. Working with him at Dublin Pub, I loved seeing him being as wise guy and giggling about it afterwards because anything he said, it couldn’t be taken seriously because he was too sweet of a boy to mean it if it was too sassy. He was kind. Kind to even those that didn’t appear to deserve it. He had a purity about him that made everyone feel like they had to be a better person when they saw him. Brendan was wonderful and I applaud his family for raising such a perfect young man. The loss of him is heartbreaking. There I isn’t a doubt in my mind that he is in heaven. Love you, Brendan.

Brendan was a terrific person, from the first time we met him and his beautiful family, about ten years ago. He could effortlessly interact with young kids, people his own age, and "grown-ups" alike. As Brendan matured, this natural ability blossomed even more as he became someone who brightened every interaction. Whether a camp counselor to youngsters, or a tennis / paddle partner with adults, everyone was just happier when he was around. Phil and Colleen raised three wonderful young people. We will miss Brendan always. The MacGregors

Most my memories of Brendan are of us playing games, I think because he was such a happy, fun-loving person. From wiffle ball in the front yard, to ping pong, and eventually beer pong, he was always leading his team (and usually beating me) with such grace. I will miss him always.
