Obituary of Bradford H. Kellogg
Bradford H. Kellogg, of Princeton Junction and formerly of Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2023, after a long illness. He was 67.
Bradford was born in Mount Kisco, NY on July 26, 1955, to the late Robert William and Marya Steele Kellogg. He grew up in a farmhouse in Westchester County with his two brothers, and the family quite enjoyed the rural atmosphere they experienced there.
After attending vocational schools, Bradford embarked on a career as a technical writer for various companies. He was responsible for writing manuals for security, computers and machinery, pharmaceuticals, and even high-tech defense systems. His career brought him to Massachusetts later in his life and he lived there for many years.
A true renaissance man, Bradford was a well-rounded individual who enjoyed cooking, writing, music, and the outdoors. He frequently vacationed to his parents’ summer home in Cape Cod where he often went kayaking on the inlets and bays. He was an accomplished guitarist and enjoyed rock, jazz, and classical music. He had a vast knowledge of classical composers and attended many concerts over the years. Bradford was a creative writer and wrote copious amounts of poetry, stories, songs, and political humor. He was also a member of the local Audubon society in Massachusetts.
Bradford will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. His family takes great comfort in knowing he is at peace.
Bradford was preceded in death by his parents, Robert William and Marya Steele Kellogg.
He is survived by his beloved brothers Christon Kellogg and his wife Helen Kaar, and Hollis Kellogg, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial service for Bradford will be held at a later date.
