Sending my love to the family. I’m grateful to have had the chance to meet my best friend Joel’s “pop”. All the dinners and time shared were always filled with laughter and smiles. I’ll never forget the bday party at their Madison home where pop taught me how to shuck and oyster. Rest easy ❤️

Frank was always steady and measured in his approach to the enforcement of the law and his service to the community. He always worked to understand the facts before he made any action or judgement. Frank went out of his way to mentor the younger officers when they were faced with challenging circumstances that arose regularly in the line of duty. When Frank was the Shift Commander in the early morning hours I knew, as a Detective, when I was faced with new and different sets of perplexing circumstances, he was always free with his experience in helping me work to a logical conclusion. Frank was a good family man with great regard for human nature. Both Kathy and I give our sympathies to his family. Scott Ross 62

My deepest sympathy to Frank's family. He was a part of our childhood growing up in Madison. He, and a few other police officers were always watching out for us "youngsters". Frank could be stern, but he was always fair, and kind to us. He was truly one of the good ones. Rest in peace, Frank. God bless you, and yours.
