Obituary of James D. Zotti

James Darren Zotti, a longtime resident of Chatham Township, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the age of 63.

Jimmy was born in Newark on April 8, 1960 to James and Grace Zotti. He was raised in Irvington with his brother Robert and attended Kean College. The family moved to Chatham in 1988 where Jimmy has resided since. 

Jimmy had a career as a florist in Union for many years and he greatly enjoyed his work. He was a kind man who loved his family deeply. Jimmy was devoted to taking care of his parents for many years in their advanced age. Jimmy enjoyed woodworking and was also a talented guitarist. 

Jimmy was predeceased by his father, James R. Zotti in 2018 and his mother, Grace Zotti (née Schimpf) in 2021. He is survived by his brother, Dr. Robert Zotti and his wife Tristi of Hermantown, MN; four cherished nieces and nephews, Zachary, Rhianna, Alexis & Tylor; and several cousins.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral service held at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
