Obituary of Beth I. Cicurillo
Beth Irene Cicurillo, a longtime Stirling resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024 after a brief illness. She was 46.
Beth is survived by her loving mother, Carol Cicurillo; her father, Carmine Cicurillo; one brother, Joshua Cicurillo; two aunts, Nancy and Meg (Don); her cousins Charles, Brian, Bernard, and Carly; her maternal cousin Catherine O’Connor; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her aunt Cathy Hallas; uncles Bob Hallas, Chuck Dicomo, and Bernard Ozarowski; paternal grandparents Carmine and Agnes Cicurillo; and maternal grandparents Bernard and Lorraine Ozarowski.
Beth was born in Belleville on May 20, 1977. She grew up in Chatham Township before moving to Stirling with her family. Beth loved children and frequently babysat for neighbors and friends. She also worked as an aide at the Summit Speech School.
Beth was a very sociable person and loved talking to people. She would frequently walk around town talking to everyone she knew, and she also enjoyed talking on the phone with friends and family.
Music was very important to Beth. She loved listening to music, especially rock and roll, and frequently went to the Stirling Hotel to listen to live music. She also enjoyed dancing and took lessons in her younger years. Beth had a special connection with butterflies.
Above all, Beth adored her family and was always putting the needs of others before her own. Her kind spirit will be deeply missed, but her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation for Beth on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.
Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 followed by Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 250 Bebout Ave, Stirling, NJ 07980.
Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
