Barbara, I will deeply miss your mother who was never without a smile or wave whenever I saw her. Both of your parents were loving and kind, and I am sure they are happily reunited. In recent years she and one of her lovely aides would always look for my little dog Clover as they walked by the house, she called her "pooper!" I always enjoyed seeing your mom enjoying a warm day outside. Sending you my deepest condolences for your loss, but both of your parents will definitely be watching over you. They are flying free, together again it is sad for us, but happy for them.

Thank you so much, Jackie. Encountering you and “ pooper” always brightened Mom’s walks. I’m taking comfort in the fact that she’s at peace now.

Sympathy to Barbara upon the death of your mother. Jessie was a friend whom I met while walking the streets of Madison with the Rose City Steppers in the 1990’s. She told stories of Madison’s past and I loved hearing them. I didn’t ask about her family since we were just enjoying the outdoors and nature. Sometime later, I made the connection of mother and daughter. It was not surprising. Jessie was a very sweet, giving person and set a good example. Barbara, you embody many similar traits, particularly during your many years in the St Vincent Martyr Thanksgiving outreach ministry. Thank you for letting me know last year about Jessie’s upcoming summer birthday so I was able to acknowledge it. I send my prayers to you and your loving family and friends who knew Jessie much better than I did. May God hold her in the palm of His hands.
