Obituary of Francesca S. Seidita

Francesca S. Seidita, of Maplewood, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024, after a long illness. She was 68.

Francesca was born in Jackson Heights, NY on July 4, 1955, to the late Vincent and Vita Seidita. She grew up in East Islip before attending Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania to obtain her bachelor’s degree. She stayed in the Philadelphia area and had a 35-year career as a budget director at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2020, Francesca moved to New Jersey to be closer to her family.

Francesca will be lovingly remembered by her beloved daughter, Jessica Walthew; her son-in-law Will Field; her cherished grandson Benjy; her brother Vinnie, his wife, Laura, and their children Gemma and Danny; her brother Jimmy, his wife, Gale, and their children Ella, Ruby, and Gio; as well as many friends from college and former work colleagues.

Services for Francesca are being held privately for her family.
