Obituary of Danielle Gatti Moro
Danielle G. Moro, of Madison, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the age of 38. Danielle’s great faith in God, her family and the prayers of many sustained her after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. Her strength was not only physical, but truly came from within.
Danielle was a bright light to everyone lucky enough to meet her. She loved to dance ever since she was a girl and had a magnetic personality, enriching everyone’s life who was part of it. Danielle’s children were the center of her existence and she treasured every moment she spent with them.
Danielle is survived by her best friend and husband, John M. Moro of Madison; her two children, Nicolette Moro & John Moro; her parents, Philip and Patricia Gatti; one brother, Philip M. Gatti, Jr. and his wife Nancy; one nephew, Philip Gatti; many loving cousins and extended family members; and countless devoted friends.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Nunzio and Nancy Chiarolanzio; and her paternal grandparents, Philip and Nicoletta Gatti.
Danielle was born in Summit on September 23, 1985 and was raised in Florham park with her brother Philip. She attended Hanover Park High school, graduating with the Class of 2003. Danielle continued her education at Ramapo College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications.
Danielle had a fulfilling career as a manufacturing planner at Marotta Controls in Montville, NJ.
Although too short, Danielle lived life well and to the fullest. She was always full of energy and spontaneity. Danielle loved exploring new restaurants, football and sports in general. Danielle’s big heart and passion for life blessed her with many friends everywhere she went.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to the visitation that will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Danielle will be celebrated on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. Those who are unable to attend in person may attend the Mass virtually by visiting www.svmnj.org and following instructions for live-stream Mass viewing.
Interment will be held privately for the family.
Danielle’s beautiful heart and smile will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She made the world around her a better place and she continues to inspire so many; her memory will live on as a blessing for everyone that knew her.
