I will always remember Kason as a little boy coming to my house to spend the night with my son Jake , his cousin. He was polite soft spoken and loved video games just like Jake. They would spend hours in Jake’s room playing but were quiet so I never really knew exactly what they were playing. He loved fruit snacks and juice boxes. They were so great together so much alike. I wish so much that as they got older they didn’t drift apart. I will never forget Kason. He was a smart caring kid. I wish he hadn’t been in so much pain. Rest now sweet boy..

Kason was someone I actually enjoyed talking to, he always had a smile on his face and his positivity could turn a rough day upside down. It’s always hard to lose one of the work family but this one hits harder than most, we’ll all miss seeing you everyday bud. My deepest condolences to his family and friends, I pray you find the strength to get through this impossible time.

Kason and I have known each other for two years. I used to work with him in Security, And then I left, but we still worked together. Every day that I would come in, we would both smile and give each other hugs and tell each other that we love each other and always check in mentally to make sure that each other we’re doing OK, and when we weren’t feeling OK at work, Kason would text me photos of him going on his hikes or abandoned places adventures and I would send him funny videos. When I was pregnant during Christmas time he gave me this beautiful gift of a rose quartz tree and it’s in my babies room and I see it every single day I come home and it makes me smile , it’s actually one of my favorite things to look at in her room. We would always talk about books and stories and about the books that he was writing. We would also nerd out about the craziest stuff about fantasy things, and it was one of my favorite part of the day when I got to see him. Kason was more of a brother than a friend. He was actually going to be in my wedding as a bridesgroom and he was so excited when I told him. Thank you for being by a part of my life Kason.. you made me smile and always had a smile no matter what. I’m so so very sorry for your loss..

Cousin, I'll remember the fun times we had together such as when you would come over to my house and we would play make believe with my Star Wars action figures, or when we would play video games together. You actually introduced me to some of my favorite video games ever when you brought them over. Thank you. Also uhhhhh my bad when I t-bone crashed into you that 1 time we were riding bikes together causing us to both fall off our bikes....... yeah..... Rest in peace, Kason.

I'm deeply saddened by the loss of Kason. He had brought immense joy into my life, I always looked forward to seeing him, and playing whenever I came down to Maine. We shared countless adventures together, playing at the beach, with our make believe shark and survivor games, to where we could explore the wonders of nature and let our creativity run wild, Showing me different videos games I didn't know I would love, going on hikes as we all get lost in the middle of night, eating s'more's by the campfire, & talking about the next activity we would play. He was a gentle kind individual spirit, who loved climbing trees, and exploring. He brought that side of me that I would never knew I had. Though he may no longer be physically present, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire me every step of the way. Rest in peace Kason. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Damian, while I would love to respond to everyone's heart felt messages, it's yours that I feel compelled to write. Thank you for sharing these childhood memories. I read them to K & K and they smiled with me. We loved having you and Kaleb visit us every summer and would've kept you forever if we could! I laughed at your memory of getting lost on a mountain: WE GOT LUCKY! Your uncle and I are so proud of you, of the young man you've become. We love you, our Marine. Call us anytime.
