Obituary of Edward J. Finn, Sr,

Edward J. Finn Sr. Salesman and consultant, Convent Station resident, 93 Edward J. Finn Sr., of Convent Station, N.J., died on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, in Care One of Morristown; he was 93 years old. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Monday, Nov. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main St., Madison, N.J. Mr. Finn was born in Waterbury, Conn., and had lived in Convent Station since 1964. Edward was a salesman and owned his own consulting firm, Superior Sales Mgt. Training, in Morristown, N.J., from 1980 until 2005, when he retired. Prior to this, he worked for Celanese Plastics Co. in Chatham, N.J., from 1963 to 1980; before that, he worked for Chase Brass and Copper in Waterbury , Conn., from 1941 to 1963. Mr. Finn was predeceased by his first wife, Adelaide (nee Miller), his second wife, Lorraine, (nee Tracey), and his daughter, Katherine Finn Redden. He is survived by his two sons, Edward J. Finn Jr. and his wife, Patricia, and Robert Finn and his wife, Sherry; his sisters, Sister Louise Finn, Martha Andres, and Christine Leonard; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to in his memory would be appreciated.
