Obituary of August Paul Bartell

BARTELL, SR., AUGUST PAUL (AUGIE), 75 Ogdensburg - August Paul (Augie) Bartell Sr., of Ogdensburg, died on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Newton Medical Center, he was 75 years old. Mr. Bartell was born in Morristown and lived in Madison and the last 30 years in Ogdensburg. Augie was self employed in the Dry Wall Construction business working throughout Morris, Sussex and Warren counties, acquiring a passion for his work, for close to 60 years. He attended Madison High School where he excelled in Track. Augie loved his family and friends and was a very kind and proud man. He loved old movies, dancing and the town of Madison. He is predeceased by his daughter, Marianne. He is survived by his children, Debra Fusco and her husband, Frank, August P. Bartell Jr. and his wife, Susan; his companion, Ida Swayze and her daughters, Diane and Lynn, his siblings, Eugene, Carol Bradshaw, William, six grandchildren, Melissa, August Ill, Amber, Frankie, Jeffrey, Judi, three great grandchildren, Bonnie, Danny, Abby and his dog, Rizzo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 9-11am at the Madison Memorial Home 159 Main St. Madison with interment to follow at the St. Vincent's Cemetery, Madison.
