Obituary of Linda Picone

Linda Jean Picone Madison resident since her 20s Linda Jean Picone (nee Nordstrom) of Madison, N.J., died on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at her home. She was 69. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main St., Madison. Interment is in St.Vincent's Cemetery, Madison. Visitation is on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Picone was born in Orange, N.J., and lived in Roseland, N.J., before moving to Madison 47 years ago. She was an office manager for A&P in Madison and later New Providence, N.J., for 10 years, retiring in 2006. Prior to this, she was a docent for the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts in Madison for five years, and before that an administrative assistant for Exxon for 11 years. Linda was a graduate of West Essex High School in Fairfield, N.J., and the Berkeley School of Business in Orange, N.J. She was predeceased by her husband, Neil R. Sr., and is survived by her son, Neil "Richie" Picone Jr.; her sisters, Judith Pace and Sandy Matts, and a grandson, Richard Michael Picone.
