During my 28 years in the priesthood, especially the nine years I served as Pastor of St. Vincent Martyr Parish in Madison NJ one of the major high lights of those 28 years was meeting Vicky and serving the people of Madison with her. She was a joy at each weekly staff meeting and enhanced the masses we celebrated with wonderful music.
We all loved Vicky.
May she rest in Peace

Dear Tony:
Everyone loved Vicki when she started teaching in our music department at Clarks Summit, Clarks Green School District. I was a sophomore in 1948 when I was asked to play the piano for her directing. We had district chorus at our school, either that year or the next. But what made her really cool to us was listening to her play the trumpet in your dance band, knowing that there was romance there, too. We grieved for you when you lost T.J. You can know that she really was a significant part of our final high school experiences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Debbie. Rebecca Newman Simms, class of 1950.

Tony,
I guess you know the admiration I had for Vickey. She was the inspiration in forming Randy's personality and love for music.Making her that bird house many years ago was just a little bit of thanks for all she did for the church and my family.Wish I could be there with you and your family, but I think you know the problems I'm facing. The music in Heaven is going to be a lot more beautiful.God Bless You.

Vicky was an amazing and inspirational choir director. She once told the choir sang not as entertainment but to offer another way for congregants to praise God. Some beautiful music went from St. Vincent church to the heavens every Sunday. So glad I heard it and knew heard. I've never found a better way to pray.

So deeply saddened and sorry to learn of Vicky's passing. My deepest sympathy to Tony and Debbie. Vicky was a remarkable, loving and talented Music Director at St. Vincent Martyr Church. I was fortunate to be a member of her choir for several years before Vicky retired. We will all miss you Vicky. RIP

I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. Vicky touch the musical souls of everyone as she directed the choir at St. Vincents. I consider myself honored to have been a part of such a wonderful and eclectic singing experience. I will never forget the trip to Italy, the retirement party and so many other celebrations. I will mostly remember her concern for me when I discovered I had breast cancer and how she insisted that I go to Dr. Holland for a second opinion. Love you Vicky and love to Tony and Debbie, too.

It has been a l-o-n-g time; but my memories of Vicky are all smiley and happy (all the celebrations we shared in Simpson and Scranton) memories of our youth. Now my heart is sad, as is yours. She has meant so much to so many.
She is in the care of our God, and we know that her JOY will be fulfilled.
Peace and love to all,

My prayers are going out to you, in the loss of your wife, and your mom (Deb).. I had Mrs. Martell, in elementary school, in Clarks Summit. She had a big impact on my career in music. I continued until graduation in 1966. May she continue her love of music with the angels.
