Obituary of Igina Palazzo

Igina Palazzo Parsippany wife and mother who was born in Italy Igina Palazzo (nee Cocchiaro), died on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, in Morristown, N.J., with her loving family by her side. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 9 a.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main St., Madison, N.J., with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church in Convent Station. Interment will be at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown. Visitation is on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Palazzo was born in the town of Torrecuso, Provence of Benevento, Italy. She came to the U.S. in 1963, settling in Summit, N.J. She lived in Madison for many years before moving to Parsippany, N.J., 15 years ago. Igina was a homemaker. She is survived by her beloved husband, Erminio; her three loving children and their spouses, Eleonora Prisco and her husband, Richard, Giuseppe and his wife, Lori, and Antonio and his wife, Francine; her eight devoted grandchildren, and many dear family members in Italy. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Foundation in her memory would be appreciated.
