Obituary of Vincent Roberts Steele

Vincent Roberts Steele, died on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, he was 79 years old. Mr. Steele was born in Rahway N.J. and lived in Madison before moving to Rockaway 49 years ago. He was a graduate of Madison High School class of 1955 and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University , Madison/Florham Park Campus. His professional career as a service technician spanned some 40 years, starting out with N.J. Bell, then with AT&T and finally retiring from Lucent Technologies in Denville in 1996. He is survived by his sons Keith Steele and Vincent Steele Jr., his sisters, Suzanne Steele and Maryann McGlotten. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 17, from 10 to 11:30am at the Madison Memorial Home 159 Main St. Madison with a graveside service to follow at the Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
