Obituary of Mario Molaro

Mario Molaro AGE: 87 • Mario Molaro passed away Tuesday morning, Aug. 16, at his home in Madison. He was 87. Born in Somma Vesuviano, Naples, Italy, he immigrated to the United States in 1967, settling in Madison. Mr. Molaro had worked as a public worker with the Boro of Chatham for many years before his retirement 25 years ago. He was a member of St. Vincent Martyr Church, and the North Stars and Forum Club all of Madison. He was also an avid gardner. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Antonia (nee Cerciello) Molaro; two daughters, Felicia DeMaria and her husband Joseph of Flanders and Joanne Novack and her husband Robert of Madison; several siblings in Italy; and three grandsons, Robert Novack, Andrew Mario Novack, and Joseph DeMaria. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, August 19, 4-8pm at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 20, 11:00am at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Convent Station. Interment will follow at St. Vincent's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent's Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
