Obituary of Joseph Michael LoSapio

Joseph Michael LoSapio AGE: 88 • Morris Plains Joseph Michael LoSapio, of Morris Plains, passed away quietly at home on September 17, 2016, just shy of his 89th Birthday. He was a longtime Morris Plains resident, having grown up in Florham Park. He w the owner Madison Atlantic Service Station and later, Madison Auto Repair before retiring many years ago. He was an avid NASCAR race fan. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy Lee (nee Luciano) and his siblings, Caroline DelMonte, Rose LoSapio, Louis LoSapio, Frank LoSapio, Anthony LoSapio, and Gabriel LoSapio. He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Loomis and Sharon Scherzer both of Morristown; his siblings, Nancy Sibona and her husband Vincent of Matawan, Anna Bartek of Madison, and John LoSapio of Morris Plains, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, Sept. 21, 4-7pm at Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 22, 10:00am at St. Virgil's R.C. Church, Morris Plains. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown.
