Obituary of Louis Romano
Mr. Louis Romano, of Madison, passed away on Monday, January 30,2017 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 73.
Born in Madison, Louis was a lifelong resident. He was a self-employed boxing trainer. Louis had an extensive career training and managing several world champion boxers. He volunteered as a Madison Junior Football coach for over 25 years, and was a member of UNICO and the Northstars of Madison for many years.
Louis was the beloved son of the late Carmen and Rose Romano. He is survived by his loving wife, Janine Romano (nee Zappa); his two sons, Carmen Romano and his wife Kim, and Jason Romano; and one daughter, Danielle Chirichillo and her husband Nicholas; one dear sister, Lucyann Turo; and 5 beloved grandchildren, Michael, Nikki, Gio, Raquel, and Sienna.
Funeral services will begin at 9:00AM on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Madison Memorial Funeral Home, 159 Main Street, Madison followed by a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Convent Station. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Vincents Cemetery, Madison.
