Obituary of Giuseppina Esposito
Giuseppina Esposito (nee Ferrara), passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Southern Ocean Medical Center. She was 93.
Giuseppina leaves behind her beloved daughter, Domenica Iossa and her husband Frank of Florham Park; her beloved son Giovanni Esposito and his wife Maria of Hillside; and her daughter-in-law, Maria Esposito of Forked River. She was also blessed with eight cherished grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her dear husband, Antonio Esposito in 1995; one son, Francesco Esposito; one daughter, Anna Maria Loiudice; and one grandson, Angelo Loiudice.
Giuseppina was born in Roccarainola in Naples, Italy on August 24, 1924 to the late Giovanni and Domenica Ferrara. After her marriage to Antonio Esposito the couple moved to the United States and settled in Summit where they raised their family and lived for many years. She also lived in Millburn for several years and after her retirement in 1995 she moved to Forked River. More recently, she lived in Barnegat for the past 15 years.
Giuseppina was a parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila RC Church in Summit. She was employed by Tropar Trophy Company in Florham Park for many years before retiring. Giuseppina had a good heart and her family was tremendously important to her. She always did all she could to make life comfortable for them, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will begin at 9:00AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by a 10:00AM Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Vincent Martyr RC Church, Madison. Interment will follow at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Madison. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to celebrate Giuseppina’s life from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
