Obituary of Louise M. Auriemma
Louise M. Auriemma, of Pompton Plains, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Cedar Crest Assisted Living. She was 93.
Louise leaves behind her two beloved daughters, Doreen Aton and her husband Neal & Mary Ann Loccisano and her husband Ralph. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Lauren Ferrell and her husband Eric, Sandy Loccisano, Michael Aton and Madison Aton; and two great-grandchildren, Connor Ferrell and Cadence Ferrell. Louise was married to Michael Auriemma and she was predeceased by her brother, Jim Trematerra.
Louise was born and raised in Madison. She was a lifelong resident until moving to Pompton Plains ten years ago. Before her retirement, she worked at Gow-Mac Instrument Co. in Bound Brook. She remained very fond of her hometown Madison and her church, St. Vincent Martyr. Louise had a good heart and was a very social person throughout her life, she also enjoyed cooking for everyone. She was a member of the Women's Club at Cedar Crest and she loved bingo. During the summer months she enjoyed taking trips with family to the Jersey shore. She also enjoyed traveling to California and Chicago to visit her daughter and family. Louise was able to take a trip to Italy of which she enjoyed every second. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30AM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by a 10:30AM Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison. Interment to follow at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Madison. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at the funeral home.
