Obituary of Olga Klimasovsky
Olga Klimasovsky (nee Straznicka), of Short Hills, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2018 with her beloved family by her side. She was 85.
Olga leaves behind her son, Peter Klimasovsky and his wife, Carol of Roseland & her daughter, Dagmar Triarsi and her husband, Onofrio of Short Hills. Olga was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Onofrio Triarsi, Jr., Giuseppina Scardina and her husband, Charlie, and Karleigh Klimasovsky; and two great-grandchildren, Natasha and Phillip. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley Klimasovsky, her son, Stanley Klimasovsky, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law, Wendy Klimasovsky.
Olga was born on May 8, 1932 in Zilina, Slovakia to the late Karol and Margaret Straznicky. She and her husband moved their family to Yonkers, NY in 1968. She lived in Madison for 18 years and Bridgewater for 8 years, before moving to Short Hills. Olga was a bookkeeper with Epstein’s Department Store of Morristown for many years before retiring.
Olga lived for and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9AM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, prior to a 10AM funeral service held at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown. A visitation to celebrate Olga’s life will be held on Wednesday from 3PM-5PM & 7PM-9PM at the funeral home.
