Dear Dana and family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I will have my best teenage friend Dorothy in my memory for ever. I had written to her this past fall a memory of the two of us walking Littleton Rd. and Malapardis Rd together. We would walk each other half way to our homes.....and because we weren't done with talking, we would then walk each other another half way. I often find myself doing this with friends here in my town in Vermont and it would make me laugh and remember our good friendship and it would confirm the good friendships I now have.
I wrote Dorothy once to thank her for the laughter she gave to me during a time that was full of sorrow when my father died during my teen years. It wasn't until adulthood did I realize this laughter was a blessing for me....and I pray for it for others to have this laughter during tough times.
May you all remember that her soul and spirit live on in the grace and rest and peace of heaven, and to know her love is constant and never dies. Love, Kathy Barry Budd
