Barbara’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Dear Carmen, I’m sorry to hear of your great loss! It’s always been so nice to see you folks relaxing together on your front porch whenever I was out for my daily walk,or occasionally running into you and your lovely Barbara at Acme, I was very fortunate to be able to share with you both that I also was a victim of the dreaded cancer, Barbara gave me the hope and moral support that helped me to keep looking ahead for the sunny skies to come! She also reminded me of the power that comes with prayer! She was always in my prayers as I’m sure that I will always be in hers. She is finally back home in the arms of The Lord who has taken all her earthly pain and suffering and replaced it with a loving warmth that she will radiate back to all of her friends and loved ones from the house of The Lord in heaven! My deepest sympathies go out to the Picone family. I am so sorry for your loss and pray for Barbaras journey home to the lord. Loss is always difficult whether expected or not. However, I believe there is a special sense of sadness when we lose our mom. Our Grandma, our constant, our always. My heart aches for those left behind but rejoices in her homecoming with her lord.
