I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Lou and I will never forget Viola .25 yrs ago we were blessed to meet the Delucas . They welcomed us into their lives and made us feel part of their family.Viola emparted her wisdom to me during difficult times . We enjoyed being part of the family dynamics and couldnt wait to see them every year in Cancun. Viola was sensible and enjoyed telling and listening to all the daily stories. To the entire family I am so sorry for your loss. “ Aunt Vi” was so sweet and kind to me always. She loved each and every one of her children and was so much in love with her husband Bill. She was s whiz at preparing a fantastic meal and making everyone feel welcomed and loved. She was one of the few people I know that was so selfless and humble. I will pray for each of you to keep her memory alive on those special holidays that she loved so much. I first met Mrs D in 1970, along with the rest of her wonderful family, when Rose Angela entered the College St. Elizabeth, where I was also a student. She was an extraordinarily warm, witty and very intelligent woman. I loved visiting her and sharing a cup of tea around her busy kitchen table. I also visited with her on Long Island and in Mexico. She gave great big hugs and was always interested in whatever I was doing. She would tell me tales of her growing up and how very different things were then. I will miss this loving matriarch and send my sincere condolences to all her family and friends. May she be delivered home on the wings of angels and Rest In Peace with the Lord. Love, Quinny ( Rev. May the light of this candle reflect in a small way the enormous light that Mom (Viola) shared with everyone throughout her life. Humility, love, compassion, and kindness are just a few of the lessons she taught by example every time I was able to spend time with her. Mom is a woman who cherished and practiced her faith in Jesus Christ every day and in every way.
