To all the DelGuidice family members, I was a neighbor of Louise & Sam Gisoldi since 1976-2004 and can remember “Mel” well. Oh could those DelGuidice sisters get together at sister Louise’s house and cook up a storm in the kitchen. It was always a fun time to see them together - a closer loving family you could not have had and I remember them all. I am so sorry to learn of her passing yet I know she joins lots of love in Heaven reuniting with those who went before. God Bless the memories this family instilled in my heart and the love they gave to my family as good neighbors. Her warm smile just let us all know things would be ok. Love you all. Peachie Attonito

"Carm" as I knew her, was one of the warmest people we were blessed to know! Her smile, was ALWAYS there, no matter where you met her. I always felt a "special" bond since it was she, who "passed the baton" to me, filling her role of "Mrs.Claus". In truth, NO ONE could come close...her deep love for every child was her "signature"...everyone was "family" in her eyes, and my husband & I were truly honored to be among them!
Love you Carm...I will hold you in my heart always!
Our love, "Us Brady's" X♡

I remember the days as a child when my mom would ask Carmela’s to “babysit”for me. For some reason I remember the year 1956 when Carmella came over, it happened to be a Sunday night when Ed Sullivan was going to unveil the new 1956 mercury on his show; I was 10 or 11. She seems so excited and when they finally showed the car and I didn’t happen to like it. she couldn’t believe it and wanted to know how I could not like the car as it was so beautiful. We laughed a lot about that incident.
Carmella wound up babysitting for my two young sons when my wife and I vacationed; they are now grown men with their own children and have fond memories of her.
Carmelo will be missed by many. May God bless her.

My aunt mel was like a second mother to us all. She knew something about all of us but also her great neices and nephews and also her great great neices and nephews. At 90 yrs. She never forgot a birthday. Her love was her condo in seaside heights which she called "My Place". My children spent many days with her there and she spoiled them to death. The love she had for her brother and sister and took care of them till the end. "What a roll model". The love of the sisters is like none other. Her escarole pie every christmas dinner. LOVED IT. We all loved u aunt mel. Just like my mom and aunt trudy...i already miss u more than u know. All my love. Maureen and The kane family

I grew up right next door and loved Carm very much.
She will be missed.
I have this memory of her and Trudy entertaining the 5 Elias kids on Christmas Eve 1972 when my grandpa passed away.
We all sat around while they told stories and showed up picture books of their travels.
I cannot begin to mention all the times she was there for my family. I think of her as perfect old-fashioned definition of a good neighbor - something that is very rare today.
My mom has been looking out her window wishing she might come home soon.
She is broken hearted by her passing.
We are prayng for her and the entire family.
