Lena raised 3 wonderful daughters, loved to dance, and enjoyed good Italian food and desserts and will be sorely missed among her family and friends as another one of the greatest generation passes on into Heaven to enjoy a well deserved and peaceful rest with God, the angels, and the saints, and the Blessed Mother. Lena and my mom were the best of friends. Marco and my dad, the same. I remember Sunday nights at Ange and Mins. After dinner, the moms would take all of us upstairs to watch the Wonderful World of Disney. Our condolences go out the the Allocco and Copabianco families.

My sweet Lena. She opened her arms, and heart, to me and my family and treated my children as her own grandchildren. So many holidays and family functions with wonderful memories of Lena. Her beautiful smile and sweet ways will always be remembered. May she rest in sweet peace.

I am so sorry to hear the news. Many happy memories forever embedded in my heart. Your mom was one of a kind and everyone who walked into her kitchen felt her love. So many of us not realizing at the time while she was offering us a taste of her wonderful cooking she was also giving us some good advice when needed and unconditional support through so many crazy phases in our lives. I still remember her delicious chicken soup and thinking she was the coolest mom ever.

Wow, where do I begin.... My earliest memories of Mrs. Allocco is of her driving us to school in the Rambler with the push buttons - OMG - we always had our laughs on the way to school. She would call all of us girls, "mommy". She was a true mother to her three girls and to every friend that they had. On her kitchen table was always plenty of snacks for after school visits. She was always so welcoming to all and always had food to offer you. I can remember her laugh... OMG she had an infectious laugh. She was fun, she was kind but she was a mother bear. Don't mess with her girls! She will be missed. May she rest in peace!! Love you Momma Lena (Mrs. Allocco)! Forever in my heart!
