To the Puzo Family -
We send our love and support at this time of loss - Your mom was such a special and talented woman and I, for one, feel so fortunate to have known her in our days together in the 80's....She left an indelible mark on my life - always so warm and welcoming to those who worked or were friends with her children.
Though we cannot be there in person today May 27, we are there in spirit -
Love, Jo and Richard, Shohola, Pa.

Julia, you were always so kind and so so smart. You taught me how to wall paper while climbing a ladder in your heeled Go slides. You taught me how to make your sauce and manicotti. Yours are the only recipes I use. I have so many good memories . . . the magic you created with your sewing machine. Spending time with you in Italy when you effortlessly climbed those hills and a million steps while the rest of us gasped for air. Hearing you speak Italian. The joy you took in entertaining your grandchildren by doing headstands and diving off the diving board. We are all blessed to have had you in our lives . . . you’ll aways be in our hearts.

Dear Aunt Julia,
When I close my eyes I can see you so much over so many years. You are part of the important memories of my past. My classy Aunt who was a liberated woman before her time. Meatballs baked in the oven. Sauce supreme. I saw you sew coats like it was nothing. You were always kind and you never talked about anyone, ever. My mother surely did love you.
When I went to your house it was a place of pride and love. You shared that love with me, and with everyone! And you had lots left over for your grandchildren. I don't know how you raised your family and did all that you did. God bless you Aunt Julia. You always could make me laugh.

I have fond memories of A Julia. She made the best Italian food...and oh that sauce! She is the one who got me interested in sewing and as a result have myself had many years of pleasure in sewing. She was also so soft spoken. My mom (Millie) loved her so. Now they are together! From my family to yours, God blessed your mom and also her wonder family.

After living in the same house with Aunt Julie and family for some 15 years, I have so many great fond memories of her! A very old memory I have of Aunt Julie is when I was about 11 or 12 years old and she drafted me to help her make home made ravioli. My job was to seal down the 3 sides of each ravioli with a fork, I saw rav’s in my sleep as a kid and it took a long time before I would eat one. I’m so glad we were a close family with Aunt Julie when I was young and then again many years later here in Sun City, SC. We will greatly miss our loving Aunt Julie.
