To the Johnson Family: Please accept our most deepest condolences to your family. Ms. Thelma Sullivan was such a lovely person. She was always a sweet, kind, and caring person. My mom and I grew to know her well from all the committees she held at Bethel AME Church in Madison, NJ. We also knew her sister, Ms. Teenie. Her personality grew so much on my mom that they became friends. She had a way of making you feel special. She would invite my mom and I to several of her family events over the years. I remember when my mom and I was invited to a family event in Maryland where we last saw Ms. Thelma. What a wonderful lady she was. May she rest in peace since she will be missed dearly. My sincere condolences to the family. I will never forget Thelma or Teenie. They both loved my mother and me and I love them for that. I will also never forget Thelma's kind disposition and always pleasant personality. Life will be different now as all of our elders have transitioned. We are the ones left to set good examples, establish legacies and let our lights shine before God. Our elders would expect nothing less.
