Obituary of Louise M. Alperti
Louise M. Alperti, a lifelong Madison resident, died peacefully on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Chatham Hills Care Center. She was 78.
Louise was born in Morristown on April 4, 1943 to the late Thomas and Madeline Alperti. She was raised in Madison with her sister and was a graduate of Madison High School. Before retiring, Louise had a career with ExxonMobil in Florham Park as a file clerk for over twenty years.
Louise was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She loved to crochet, sew and devoted a great of her leisure time to small crafts. She was a woman of great faith and a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls for many years.
Louise’s family will miss her deeply and take comfort in knowing she is at peace with the Lord.
Louise is survived by her beloved sister, Ann Hoag and her husband, Rolf of Madison; two nieces, Jeanne Lopez & Sharon Drozdowski and her husband, Kevin; and her cherished great nieces & nephews, Michael Lopez, Melanie Lopez, Spencer Drozdowski and Madeline Drozdowski.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation from 7PM to 9PM on Thursday, August 5, 2021 held at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison. A Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Ave, Cedar Knolls. Interment will follow at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison.
