Condolences to the Bonfield family on the passing of your matriarch Muriel.
Muriel was a loving person always ready to come to her neighbors’ aid. However, she was not shy in making her displeasure known if a situation was not to her liking.
She became a stalwart friend to my sister Manon and I and we will miss her greatly.
Rest In Peace our friend and we hope to meet again in the world made new.

I met Aunt Muriel through my mom, Judith Dixon when I was pretty young under 10 years of age and I'm over 50 now. She had an infectious laugh and spoke her mind. I loved visiting her when she was living in Jamaica. When she came to Jamaica some years ago, mom and I visited her and she was the same. Personality, aura was the same as I've always known her. Rest in peace Aunt Muriel. You will be missed. God bless

I met Muriel back in the 1990s as a volunteer for the Literacy Program in Madison NJ. We became fast friends and I looked forward to our meetings. But, I moved away in 2000. So, we stayed in touch by mail. Muriel never missed sending me a card and a prayer for my Birthday, Easter and Christmas and I returned the same to her. We even spoke on the phone in 2021, finally after getting her phone #. She was a joy to know, I miss her and her kindness and thoughtfulness as she was a faith filled person and a sweet old fashioned girl. I know she is singing with the Angels! God Bless you Muriel and thank you for your faith, kindness and friendship. You are loved and missed. Jessie DeGiorgio, your friend.
