Phyllis and I were classmates in Madison for many years, both graduating in 1960. My deepest condolences to the Franke family and all of Phyllis extended family. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. So very sorry for your loss.

I met Phyllis in 1964 and we have been best friends since. We worked together at Chubb & Son and we used to joke that we were the best secretaries they had. For 57 years we talked and laughed over our antics. We played poker on Friday nights for a while though neither of us knew what we were doing which I’m sure frustrated her husband, York. Her boys and her husband were her life and I’m so glad she made me part of it by becoming godmother to Erik. I’m kind of sorry now that we never met Frank for lunch. I will miss you my dear friend.
