Sympathy to Carol's family. I met Carol during group walks with Rose City Steppers. We would have chats along the route, when Carol quietly shared things she felt strongly about and listened also to what others had to share. She was also sensitive and caring. I saw her with her grandchildren a few times and was amazed how much her granddaughter (Delia?) physically resembled Carol. When Carol moved to Wilmer Street, she planted a flower garden which was beautiful for all nearby residents and visitors to enjoy. I also remember Carol’s Catholic faith which was inspirational. I was a friend of Carol's for many years. We met on the golf course and played weekly together. From that friendship, we joined Paper Mill Playhouse's subscription for many years. There were three of us who met up for lunch, friendship and the play. Carol had a wicked sense of humor, a deep faith and consoled each other in times of deep sadness. I will forever miss her smiling face. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Maryann Croce

Our sympathies to all of Carol's family~ A gracious, sweet friend from SVC, blessed many of our lives. Soft spoken, every bit a kind soul. Someone very easy to like. Said little, but spoke volumes. Sorry to see her leave us, but consoled she is at peace with her dear husband in heaven.

My friendship with Carol goes back to graduate school days where our husbands met. We all became close friends immediately. Our families spent many fun times including vacations. Even though Rich and I relocated a few times, Carol and I were in constant touch and remained in touch through her wonderful and helpful son, Michael. I will always cherish the kind caring person she was and we will certainly miss her.

Aunt Carol's beautiful taste and sly sense of humor were an inspiration to me throughout my life. She was a wonderful sister to my mother, and a terrific wife, mom, and grandmom, and will be sorely missed by all.

During our many family gatherings when we were kids, I distinctly remember Aunt Carol giving Martha Stewart a run for her money - from her calm, tasteful decor (I think she incorporated Robins Egg Blue way ahead of Martha!) and interesting culinary treats (Im also sure that she and Uncle Dave had the first pasta maker on their block) to her ever-evolving garden, Aunt Carol clearly enjoyed creating the perfect home for her adored husband and son. To Michael, Christine, Delia, Ben and Sara Kate, we wish you comfort in your own memories. You must know that she received so much joy from the beautiful family legacy you have created.
