Michael, your mom was a very friendly and lively woman, and family was of great importance to her. My mother enjoyed her company, and I enjoyed meeting her when I was in Madison in 2018. Her many collections and her crafts projects were amazing! I'm sure she will be greatly missed by many.

We would like to offer our most sincere condolences.
Your mom was an incredible woman, mother, artist and vintage bottle collector. Mike I’m sure you took up painting because of her influence. These are all the fond memories I have of your dear mom Fanny when I lIved in the Orchard. I also remember when she would go across the street to see her mom which God bless her, also lived to 99 years old. I remember when she would always ask me to stay for dinner and Her being so kind to allow us to jam in your garage. May she Rest In Peace along with Your father and brother. Hold on to the memories and she will forever live in your heart.
Love Cheech, Lucy, & family

My sincerest sympathy to family & friends on the loss of ‘Fannie’ - a prominent name, family and face in Madison all the years I lived there. (1976-2003) A role model to all who treasured raising family and being active in community & service. May she rest in peace. Glad to see her son is still keeping the lights on @ the Madison Electric Company. A good man - so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you at this time.

I am so sorry to learn of Mrs. Piano passing. Always friendly to everyone. For many years she riode on the Memorial Day float as a blue star mother. She sat in back of us at the 7:15 mass and Carmine and I always enjoyed saying a few words about each other’s family. I am so glad I got the opportunity to visit her in the spring . We had a beautiful conversation about Madison, the pictures that were hanging on her wall , of course said a prayer with her and a mutual friend Tony DeRosa. May she rest in our Lords arms.

There is so much that I can say about this dear woman. To be loved by EVERYONE in Madison speaks for itself. Her warm smile and kind heart was her trademark...she loved kids and adults alike, and gave of herself to both. I vividly remember her "seat in St.Vincentn's Church" each morning at 8:30 mass. Her faith was solid and the kisses she blew to me across the aisle at "the kiss of peace" was my favorite part of seeing her each morning. She was a gentle, honest soul, who asked for nothing, but gave SO MUCH!
My heart was saddened to hear she passed...but her memory will be with all of us Madisonians forever. She was a "true angel on earth", and now in heaven as well.
July 30th, her "100th" birthday will be a day we should all celebrate her life...she was all about spreading joy and smiles...let's make it a day of just that! Rest peacefully dear Fanny...our love always~Ann Marie and Jim Brady xo
