Obituary of Marilyn J. Schindler

Marilyn Jean Schindler, 92, devoted to her family, friends, and church.

Marilyn Jean Schindler, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2022 in Chatham, NJ. Marilyn was born and raised in Wisconsin and came to New Jersey in the 60s with her late husband, Joseph, and her three children, Kurt, Bonny, and Keith.

She is survived by her son Kurt Schindler; her daughter, Bonny Chopey and her husband Nicholas; four grandchildren Tracey, Brandon, Nicholas and his wife, Sarah, and Conor. She is also survived by one great-grandchild, Quinn.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, she was predeceased by her son, Keith.

Marilyn loved spending time with her family and friends. Her strong faith was evident in all she did. Marilyn was very involved in volunteering at the Chatham United Methodist Church. She was an instrumental part of the Skeep Ministry for underpriveliged children.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation to celebrate Marilyn's life held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.

A 10:00 AM Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Chatham United Methodist Church, 460 Main Street, Chatham.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to the Chatham United Methodist Church.
