To Marianne, Francine, Patti and Ed I am so very sorry hearing about your Mom. I will always remember her with a beautiful smile and seeing her at family functions. When my Mom passed what she wrote in the card she sent was so consoling and brought me comfort. To me she was not Marie, but Aunt Marie. May the Angels guide you to Heaven to rest eternally. I met Marie in 1992 when I moved to Chatham from Brooklyn. We worked together at Buchmeister Books, which formed a little family, which also included Hal & Carmela, the owners & Joan & Christa. Marie may the angels & Our Lady welcome you to paradise. I love you & I'll miss you.

Marie was one of the most special people I know. I will always cherish our breakfasts together at Prestige w the gang. I loved praying w her and Patti on several occasions at night. I will miss her dearly.

Marie and Bob were the dearest people that I met during my time assigned to Saint Vincent. Marie and I have kept in touch and we always enjoyed our conversations. The last one was only two weeks ago, and we were hoping to have lunch. We had been planning that for some time but unfortunately time has run out... I am the recipient, of Marie's cookies, pignoli and Italian wedding cookies... she always was thinking of others. Marie was a strong woman of faith, and her prayers are now still with us from her new home with God and her dear Bob and son... Marie, my love always... Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers as you give your mother back to God who gave her life... +blessings and prayers, Fr. Ron Sordillo

Trying to write all that I admired about this dear friend of mine, would take more than this space provides. After losing my own mom, she stepped-in giving me the love, caring & and "always there" shoulder to lean on! We shared many talks about life, friendships, religion & family. Whether a phone call or visit, the minutes turned to hours, and we often laughed, that we just solved the problems of the world! I know she is already united with the love of her life,her husband Rob, and that comforts my sad heart. But, it is what we shared in friendship & daily chats, that will be the hard part. She has left an imprint on my heart... And that imprint has been her greatest gift to me! We clicked from the start, , and the lessons in life she taught me, will be my guiding light in all the years ahead! Thank-you mom Marie, now dance in heaven with dear Rob❣️
