I met Al in 2012 when it was both a privilege and pleasure to deal with Al on the non profit EPOCH account. I was the insurance broker on the account at that time met periodically with Al amongst other Board members. Simultaneously,I was going through the journey of RCIA . Al gave me support and encouragement in both side bar conversations and in a letter still in my possession. He was a wonderful man. May God Bless Al Wickens and family.

I met Al and Pat thru my Dad John Mulholland. Very kind, faithful friends. Enjoyed going to lunch at the diner after praying for the unborn. Visited with Al one afternoon this summer I know he is happy with Pat now. I am blessed to have known such a wonderful man. Praying for his sister Jean and all of his family.

I met Al about 35 plus years ago when I worked with one of those "myriad of charitable organizations" in Newark and Al was at Mutual Benefit Life. A year or two later, I moved to Chatham and we continued a personal and professional friendship. His commitment to EPOCH was apparent each Bottle Hill Day when my wife and I would make it a point to visit with him and support the organization's raffle. And we loved seeing Pat and Al at the Madison Pool each summer. He was the consummate gentleman, always gracious and helpful. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences to the family.
