Peter was passionate about his career and kept up-to-date on the current advancements in his field even in retirement. He loved baseball and well into his forties he played baseball. He especially loved the NY Yankees. In his younger years he was a pilot and enjoyed travelling.
He also kept up with current events and believed strongly in democracy, justice and humanitarian causes.
In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by his beloved wife Raffaela Polizzano in 2011. He is survived by his children, Debra Ann Polizzano and her husband William of Orange, Joseph James Polizzano of Blakeless, Pennsylvania and Anna Maria McKenna and her husband Frank of Morristown and his son Peter Joseph Polizzano of Hackettstown, six grandchildren: Robert, Michael, Christopher Polizzano, Julianna, Grace and Mary McKenna; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
