For Sian, my friend. We met some 24 years ago, Mums “ to be”; starting to show; Hit it off as we learned to “breathe” I can’t believe you had to leave! Days of dinners, drinks and fun, A smile to outshine the rising sun, Monday meet-ups filled with glee Gin for you, wine for me! A friendship built on mutual caring, Remember the night at Marcus Wareing? Or the week in “Casa Manos” together, Spanish blue skies.. just perfect weather. I only had the pleasure of meeting Sian once, but she was just as sweet & lovely as you described. You had just finished the kitchen renovation & Thanksgiving was coming. She was not going to mess that new oven up just yet, and it was clear Martin would be cooking it outside- and he would happily do so! I know from how you spoke of her how much you absolutely adored her.
